H2 ERA’s R&D, production & sales projects on hydrogen-energy vehicles
1. Bus with hydrogen compressed natural gas
The bus with hydrogen compressed natural gas, which was jointed developed by the Company and Chengdu Bus Co., Ltd., was equipped with WP6 engine of Weichai Power. The bus is 11.5 meters long and can be used mixed gas of hydrogen and natural gas with 20% hydrogen compressed by volume. In the absence of hydrogen, the bus can also be filled with pure natural gas. The prototype bus was exhibited at Western China International Fair in 2016 and also at the trial operation ceremony of hydrogen energy vehicle in Sichuan Province on February 28, 2018. Because the Limits and Measurement Methods for Emissions from Vehicles (CHINA 6) will be implemented, we will develop further HCNG vehicles under the former lean burning conditions, thus making it suitable for the equivalent combustion conditions of the above-mentioned standard.
2. Heavy truck using hydrogen compressed natural gas
The Company and Shaanxi Heavy-Duty Automobile Group Co., Ltd are negotiating to jointly develop heavy trucks using hydrogen compressed natural gas. The heavy truck will be equipped with a 13-liter engine of Weichai Power. The cooperation will proceed forward together along with the sales of heavy truck using hydrogen compressed natural gas.
The Company and the Sales Company of Shaanxi Shaanxi Heavy-Duty Automobile have signed a joint sales contract to sell the above-mentioned heavy truck powered by natural gas.
3. Logistics vehicle of hydrogen fuel cell
The Company is cooperating with Chengdu Bus Co., Ltd. and other organizations to jointly develop lightweight logistics vehicle with hydrogen fuel cell. Two models were developed in the early stage: an 8-ton intercity logistics vehicle and a 2.5-ton urban logistics vehicle.
4. Operation of the medium and heavy vehicles with hydrogen fuel cell
The Company and Shenzhen Branch of China Overseas Holdings Limited are negotiating to jointly develop the operation project of the medium and heavy vehicles with hydrogen fuel cells, through using the national support policy.
